Finished Products of March

BB Cream Oil Free by Garnier (7,99€): It's a classic in my stash already. I've probably used more than four tubes already and I always buy a new one. It works great with my skin, but only this version (the one for oily and combination skin types), the classic one just doesn't settle on my skin and moves all around. It has medium coverage so if you're looking for a light tough of color this one is definitely not for you. I use it instead of foundation since it's way cheaper and makes my skin look great without effort. I apply it with the stippling brush from Real Techniques and blends really well with my skin so probably for darker skintones this color is a bit too fair. I totally recommend this product, just find the version that works best for your skin type and I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do. Of course when I run out of the next tube I'll buy another one!

Skin Natural BB Eyes Roll On by Garnier (5,95€): It has been my go to concealer on an everyday basis whenever I was in a rush but it was really old (it probably has 2+ years! I know I should be ashamed!) and I thought that it was time to change it for the new version. It's a product that lasts for ages, seriously! I was amazed of how much product fitted into such a small bottle like this one. I applied it over my dark circles and around the nose area (where I have some redness) and it blended seamlessly with my skin. I've bought the new version and the color is darker and doesn't match my skin as well as this one so probably I won't be able to use it alone for a quick touch up. I'll make a review soon with a comparison between the old and the new version so you'll ble able to see the differences but for now I'll just say that I wish they have kept the old version...

Smoky Lash Mascara by Make Up Forever (23$): I bought this mascara after getting tored of using the Diorshow one. It's a lovely product that elongates and curves the lashes, it doesn't leave your lashes crunchy and it doesn't flake (at least on me). Overall I would say it's a great mascara but I'm still trying to find THE ONE. I won't be buying it again at least for now since it is pretty expensive and I have another ones to finish, but in the future I'll probably end up buying another tube since I was happy of how my lashes looked with it.

Rice Scrub by Rituals (10€): I got this as a sample with Glamour magazine and I fell in love with it! It has a nice, fresh scent, not too sweet so I feel it's a great product to take it with you and use it while you shower. It has small microcapsules that gently exfoliate your skin without being too harsh. That makes it the perfect body exfoliant to use more than once a week, it's even appropriate for sensitive skins! I'll probably buy the full size bottle the next time I visit one of their shops.

And now to the post, the finished products of February 2015.

Conditioner for Colored Hair by Belle (only available in Spain): My mom bought this conditioner for her hair and I also used it and none of us have felt any kind of improvement in our hair. It was like applying nothing so I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a conditioner that protects your color or makes your hair softer. The good thing is that it's a cheap brand so I didn't loose that much money. I won't buy it again.

Daily Microfoliant by Dermalogica (54$): This is an amazing skin product if you're having some problems with zits, bumps, acne or dullness. It' a gentle face exfoliant with a rice-based powder formula that activates upon contact with water, releasing Papain, Salicylic Acid and Rice Enzymes. Basically you apply it doing circular motions on the face mixing it with some water, like if it was a face mask. If you have time you can let it dry so it's even more effective. After that you wash it off using water again and you'll feel your skin cleaner, softer and brighter. It has improved my skin a lot and I have been able to apply it daily since it's appropriate for sensitive skins also. I know it's expensive but it has lasted me for more than a year.

Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam by The Face Shop: This was the first corean skin product I've ever used and it messed up my skin so badly! I was hoping to love this product since everyone is talking so good about corean skincare products... I tried a small sample before buying the full size product and it had worked totally fine but when I started using this cleansing foam for three to four days my skin became itchy and irritated, even with bumply texture in some parts. I thought that maybe it was because it was a bit too strong so I started using it only once a week and still my skin reacted really bad to it.

Clearly I stopped using it because my skin was all wrong, with breakouts and red patches. I don't know what ingredient could have made such a bad reaction... I've read it's a brightening product so maybe is not good for my sensitive skin. I was advised by the shop ownder which is specialized in corean cosmetics so I trusted her. Anyway, I had to throw this away and start from zero with my skin again to get it back in shape so I won't be buying this product never again.

Hand Cream by Druni (only available in Spain): This was an ok hydrating cream. It's a nice product if you don't have super dry skin since it absorbs really quickly and smells good (like a classic hand cream, nothing special). But if you need an extra moisturizing product this one is not for you since you might need something more potent. It was a gift from the shop so I'm not sure how much it costs but it probably is not expensive at all. I wouldn't buy this again since I've used hand creams that I've liked more.

Fix+ by M·A·C (22$): This has been a must for me for some years now. Probably is my 3rd or 4th bottle and I've already bought another one. As the brand describes it, is an aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber. You can use it before or after applying your makeup. If you use it before, it moisturizes a bit your skin and creates a fresh canvas for the foundation. If you use it after (which is what I usually do), it helps to fix the finished makeup and gives a more natural look, not powdery. It's not like you can't live without it but it's a nice feeling to use it to finish off your makeup, specially during summer. There's also available a travel size which is great to try it before buying the full size.

Finished Products - January '15 // Productos Terminados - Enero '15

Welcome to my first "Finished Products" post! Even though there aren't many of them, I love them and I wanted to show them to you before I would accumulate more. They're very appealing.

1. Day Cream Normal to Combination Skin "Abeille Royale" by Guerlain: This review was made by my mom who is the one who has been using it, but I think it's intereseting to all of you who are using (or starting to use) anti-aging products. Even though is an expensive cream (115,50 € approx.) is one of the best my mom has ever tried and she'll buy it again for sure. It's not greasy or heavy on the skin, the feeling is comfortable. It plumps the skin and with the time it give a lot of brightness (in a good way). It lasts around 8 months if you apply it every morning. During summer my mum didn't use it because her face sweated (not only for the crem but also beacause of her work where shehas to do physical activiy). During those months she used the cream from Origins which is below and that is more lightweight.

2. Sensibio H2O AR Anti-redness Micellar Solution by Bioderma: My mom had an allergic reaction to a makeup remover from Deliplus, after that she was recommended two micellar waters by the pharmacist. The first was this one by Bioderma. It's a bit expensive (15,90 €) for being a micellar water but truth is that is perfect for sensitive skins because it's really soft to the skin and helps to remove makeup without needing more "agressive" products, to say it somehow. Besides, there's no need to wash your face after applying it and its formulated for sensitive skin prone to rosacea and cuperosis. So if you have suffered an allergic reaction or you have a skin as described, try it.

3. Boucles d'Art by Kérastase: If you have curly or wavy hair, try this aqua-mousse (as they describe it). Its texture is a mix between traditional mousse and soap foam, so it's more lightweight and less sticky. When your hair is dried it doesn't leave it crunchy or too dry, it gives definition yo your curls without adding weigh on them, besides it helps to keep the frizz at bay. I apply directly on my wet hair and leave it to air dry (zero complications). If I want more definition, I add a bit more of product once the hair is dried and I shape it with my fingers. Agains it I would say that it's an expensive product but if you want to pamper your curls, this is your product. PS: Its size is perfect to take it with you on your suitcase and wear beachwaves on your next vacation! (You can buy it in a hair salon).

4. Energy-boosting Moisturizer "GinZing" by Origins: My favorite of these five! This facial cream has been my discovery of 2014, without any doubt. Super lightweight, fluid texture, an orange smell that I love and it just gives to my skin the hydration it needs. I've been applying it AM and PM for months and my skin has been in perfect condition even brighter, it didn't add any oil and my dry patches were totally fine (I have combination skin so these are my two main issues). I also used it during summer and I didn't feel it was too heavy for my skin so it was very easy to add it into my daily facial routine. All the reviews I've read about it are great and I add mine to these good opinions about this product. If you're looking for a basic moisturizer, try this one. What's more, it's not expensive for its quality and it has natural ingredients.

5. Guess Girl Belle Eau by Guess: This has been my go to cologne for summer and I've finished it during these last two months. Even though I like its smell, sweet & floral, it doesn't last too much on my skin. The bottle is lovely and it costs around 56 €. Maybe on other people the smell lasts longer but definitely is not for me so I won't buy it again.

Have you tried any of these products? Did you read or heard about them before? Kisses!
